About SahiCalc
SahiCalc builds simple, accurate and completely free financial calculators for India. Our goal is to help you get a straight, trustworthy answer to money questions — without ads getting in the way of the task, without sign-ups, and without your data ever leaving your device.
Our mission
Personal finance in India is full of confusing rules — old vs new tax regime, HRA exemptions, EPF, gratuity, SIP returns and loan EMIs. Most calculators either oversimplify or hide the logic behind the number. We do the opposite: we show you the result and the formula and assumptions behind it. Check the financial year, rate and limitations on each calculator before relying on an estimate.
Who maintains the calculators?
SahiCalc is responsible for the calculators, explanations and updates published on this website. Attribution is to SahiCalc as a brand; it is not a claim of independent review, professional certification or personalised financial advice.
How we build and check calculations
- Explain the estimate: calculator pages describe their formulas and assumptions. Bank rounding, deposit dates, charges and individual tax circumstances can change actual results.
- Use primary sources: scheme rules and tax explanations link to official sources where available. A default interest rate is an assumption, not a guaranteed future return.
- Make corrections traceable: substantive corrections are recorded in the project's maintenance notes. An update date does not mean every possible financial scenario has been independently reviewed.
- Private by design: all calculations run in your browser. We do not collect, store or transmit the figures you enter.
- Fast & free: lightweight pages that load quickly on any device, free for everyone, forever.
Report a calculation or source error
Email admin@sahicalc.com with the calculator URL, sample inputs, the result you expected and a link to the relevant official rule if available. Use fictional figures and do not send account numbers, PAN details or other sensitive information.
A note on advice
Our calculators are informational tools, not financial or tax advice. They are a great way to understand and estimate your numbers, but for decisions with real consequences, please consult a qualified professional. See our disclaimer for details.
